A Vision of the Future
I want to extend a warm embrace to anyone who is reading this. That is what I have to offer in these pivotal and painful times. I know I could use that comforting embrace as much as give one. I don’t have anything wise to say, anything to wake us up more than the cold water of present life has.
We are encouraged to practice living in the NOW. Today I want to imagine a vision of a FUTURE for humankind where respect and love will prevail, no matter the color of your skin, your gender, or other aspects of your humanness that make you yourself. I may not be alive, myself, to witness the full emergence of this kind of fully conscious world AND I want to be a part of laying the groundwork in whatever way I can.
My husband said to me today- “Imagination is a very powerful thing.” He has been studying hypnosis and its transformative ways.

“I imagine a time when all Humans will value the intimacy and satisfaction of gathering together to have important conversations about things Human, with openness and acceptance.
I imagine a time when the adventure within and honest introspective travels are equally as exciting as traveling the ladder of success, and the world of outer manifestations. As with In so with Out.
I imagine a time when all Humans will want to know themselves well, taking responsibility for their choices, and behave generously to themselves and others.
I imagine a time when all Humans prioritize acknowledging their fears and vulnerabilities, rather than forcing them into the shadows and projecting them onto others. Courage cannot be developed unless the fearful parts are welcomed and seen.
I imagine a time when all Humans realize their interconnectedness with each other, the planet, and the Universe.
I imagine a time when all Humans try to make decisions consulting their whole Heart, as well as their whole Mind and whole Body.
I imagine a time when all Humans will consider the highest good for all, with equanimity.
I imagine a time when all Humans know their true value, using presence, awareness, and kindness as their measuring tool, and not achievements and wealth.
I imagine a time when people will speak their truth while acknowledging that their truth is not the only truth.
I imagine a time when all Humans will understand that giving is receiving and receiving is giving.
I imagine a time when all Humans will seek help when they are suffering, and show up when others ask for support during their own suffering.
I imagine a time when all Humans learn to forgive themselves and others.
I imagine a time when Wholeness includes the complexity of the Human with love, compassion, and understanding. We see that Wholeness can keep growing and expanding, infinitely.
Francis Rothluebber calls this the New Human. Barbara Marx Hubbard called this the Universal Human. We are evolving.
